Stickleaf (Mentzelia oligosperma)
Stickleaf (Mentzelia oligosperma)

Stickleaf is common during the summer of a wet year in open rangeland areas often following mechanical disturbance. Leaves and seeds have velcro hooks that attach to anything that touches them. Stickleaf is seldom abundant enough to warrant control, but herbicides will control it in early growth stages in spring.
